From Gosh! 2009: Open Source Hardware Summit

Norm will talk about his long-time fascination with "neuromimes" -- circuits which emulate single nerve-cells, and which can be arranged in networks to take on analytical and communicative tasks. He will demonstrate "neuromime" circuits he has developed using cheap, commonly available, low-level logic chips and analog components.
